    From Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, head southeast on Mohawk Mountain Rd toward Route 4. Turn left onto Route 4 and continue for approximately 4 miles. Merge onto Route 8 South via the ramp to Waterbury. After about 7 miles, take exit 37 for Route 63 toward Watertown. Continue on Route 63 for about 4 miles until you reach Thomaston Rd. Turn right onto Thomaston Rd, and you will find Black Rock State Park at 2065 Thomaston Rd, Watertown, CT 06795.

    If you are using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from the nearby area to Waterbury. From the Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus station in Cornwall Bridge. From there, board the bus to Waterbury. Once in Waterbury, transfer to a local bus that goes to Watertown. Get off at the nearest stop to Thomaston Rd, and you can walk to Black Rock State Park, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
