Getting There

• Car

  From Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, head south on Mohawk Mountain Road. After about 1.2 miles, turn left onto Route 4 East. Continue for approximately 3.5 miles, passing the intersection with Route 63. Keep an eye out for the signs for Mohawk State Park. Turn left onto Mohawk State Park Road. The park entrance will be on your right after about half a mile. Parking is available on site.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, start by taking the local bus from Mohawk Mountain Ski Area to the nearest bus station in the town of Cornwall Bridge. From there, you will need to transfer to a bus heading towards Litchfield. Once you reach Litchfield, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Mohawk State Park, which is approximately 5 miles away from the bus station in Litchfield. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for routes and timing.

• Bicycle

  For those willing to bike, start from Mohawk Mountain Ski Area and take Mohawk Mountain Road south. After about 1.2 miles, turn left onto Route 4 East. Continue for approximately 3.5 miles, and then turn left onto Mohawk State Park Road. The bike ride is scenic, but be cautious of vehicle traffic along Route 4. There are bike racks available at the park entrance for securing your bike.
