    Bus

    From downtown New Britain, walk to the New Britain Transportation Center located at 53 East Main Street. Take the CTtransit Route 82 bus towards New Haven. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive in New Haven, get off at the stop near the intersection of Whitney Avenue and Grove Street. From there, walk 5 minutes east along Whitney Avenue. The New Haven Museum will be on your left at 114 Whitney Ave.

    Train

    Make your way to the New Britain train station located at 30 W Main St. Take the Hartford Line train towards New Haven Union Station. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Upon arriving at New Haven Union Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. From the bus terminal, take the CTtransit Route 228 bus towards the Downtown area. Get off at the stop at Whitney Avenue and Grove Street, and walk 5 minutes east along Whitney Avenue to reach the New Haven Museum at 114 Whitney Ave.

    If you are situated in downtown New Britain, you can walk to the New Haven Museum, although it's quite a distance. Start walking east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with West Street. Continue straight, following the path towards New Haven. After about a 2-hour walk, you will reach the intersection of Whitney Avenue and Grove Street. Turn left onto Whitney Avenue, and the New Haven Museum will be on your left at 114 Whitney Ave.
