Once on I-95, head towards Milford. Take exit 40 for US-1 S toward Milford. After exiting, merge onto US-1 S and continue for about 2 miles. Then, turn right onto Silver Sands Parkway. Follow this road until you reach Silver Sands State Park, located at 1 Silver Sands Pkwy, Milford, CT 06460. Parking is available on-site, and there is no fee for entry.

    For public transportation, you can use the Metro-North Railroad. Board a train on the New Haven Line heading towards Grand Central Terminal and get off at the Milford station. Once you arrive at Milford station, you can catch a local bus (CT Transit Route 5) towards Westfield Mall. Get off at the stop for Silver Sands Parkway. From there, it's about a 0.5-mile walk to the park entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary, and you may need to pay a fare for the bus, typically around $1.75.
