Car
If you are traveling by car from New Haven Harbor, head east on Long Wharf Drive. Follow the signs to I-95 North. Merge onto I-95 North and continue for about 2 miles. Take exit 46 for Route 34 East toward New Haven. Follow Route 34 East until it merges into I-91 South. Take exit 3 for Route 1 South toward New Haven. Continue on Route 1 South (also known as Whalley Avenue) until you reach the intersection with Lighthouse Road. Turn left onto Lighthouse Road, and the park entrance will be on your right at 2 Lighthouse Rd, New Haven, CT 06512. Note that parking is available on-site, and a small parking fee may apply during peak visiting hours.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start at the New Haven Union Station. Take the CT Transit bus number 208 or 207 towards East Haven. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes and disembark at the Lighthouse Point Park stop on Lighthouse Road. The bus fare is approximately $1.75, and it is advisable to have exact change or a transit pass.
