From downtown New Haven, head to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Chapel St and State St. Take the CTtransit Bus Route 222 towards 'East Haven'. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop at 'Lighthouse Rd and Long Wharf' and walk east on Lighthouse Rd for about half a mile until you reach Lighthouse Point Park at 2 Lighthouse Rd.

Starting from the New Haven Green, head south on Church St. Turn right onto State St and continue until you reach the intersection with East St. Turn left onto East St. Continue straight onto Lighthouse Rd, which will take you directly to Lighthouse Point Park. The ride is approximately 3 miles and should take about 15-20 minutes.
