If you are starting from the New Haven Green, head east on Chapel Street. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach State Street. From the New Haven train station, take the CT Transit bus #222 towards East Haven. Get off at the State Street and Chapel Street stop. From there, walk two blocks east on Chapel Street to reach the Ninth Square Historic District, located near 1000-1100 State Street.
