    From downtown Bridgeport, walk to the Bridgeport Metro-North train station located at 525 Water Street. Purchase a ticket for the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) service towards Huntington. The train ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Huntington station, exit the train and walk towards Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach Huntington Public Library at 338 Main St, Huntington, NY 11743. The library will be on your left.

  • Bus

    Head to the Bridgeport Bus Terminal at 710 Water Street. From there, take the HART Bus Route 1 towards the Huntington area. Remain on the bus until you reach the stop at Main Street & 338 Main St. After getting off, the Huntington Public Library will be directly across the street.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service in Bridgeport. Start at the Bridgeport Transit Hub and head east on Water Street. Continue to follow the road until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and cycle towards Huntington.
