From Norwalk, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Washington Street. Take the CT Transit Bus #9 towards New Haven. Stay on the bus for about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop labeled 'New Haven Green.' From there, walk east on Chapel Street until you reach Whitney Avenue. Turn left onto Whitney Avenue, and the New Haven Museum will be on your right at 114 Whitney Ave.

Make your way to the South Norwalk Train Station (SONO). You can walk or take a local bus to the station. Take the Metro-North New Haven Line train towards New Haven. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the New Haven Union Station, exit the station and head southeast on Union Avenue. Turn left onto Chapel Street and continue walking until you reach Whitney Avenue. Turn right, and the New Haven Museum will be on your right at 114 Whitney Ave.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. Start from Norwalk and follow the East Avenue towards the north until you reach the waterfront.
