Getting There

Train
From Stamford, take the Metro-North Railroad train towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the 86th Street station in Manhattan. Once you exit the station, head west on 86th Street until you reach Central Park West. Turn left and walk south until you reach 77th Street. Turn right on 77th Street, and the Grand Bazaar NYC will be on your left at 100 W 77th St.

Bus
From Stamford, board a Greyhound or Peter Pan bus heading towards New York City. Depending on traffic, the trip will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Port Authority Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and walk to the 8th Avenue subway station. Take the A or C subway line downtown to 59th Street – Columbus Circle, then transfer to the 1 subway line and head uptown to the 79th Street station. Exit the station and walk two blocks east to Central Park West, then south to 77th Street. The Grand Bazaar NYC will be on your left.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike in Stamford and cycle to Grand Bazaar NYC. Follow the bike path along the waterfront to connect to the East Coast Greenway. Continue riding towards New York City, and once you reach Manhattan, use the bike lanes to navigate to Central Park West. When you arrive at 77th Street, turn right, and the Grand Bazaar will be on your left. Note that this option may take a few hours and requires good biking skills.

If you are already in Stamford and prefer walking, you could walk to the Stamford train station. From there, take the train as described above. Alternatively, if you are within walking distance of the train station, you can walk the entire way to New York City, but it’s a long journey of about 35 miles and would take a full day.
