    Subway

    From Stamford, head to the Stamford Transportation Center. Take the Metro-North Railroad train on the New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Harlem-125th Street station. Once you arrive at Harlem-125th Street, exit the station and walk west on 125th Street for about 3 blocks until you reach the intersection with Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. Turn left (south) on Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd and walk for about 2 blocks until you reach W 135th St. Turn right on W 135th St, and the Harlem YMCA will be on your left at 180 W 135th St.

    Bus

    From Stamford, go to the Stamford Transportation Center. Take the CT Transit bus route 10 towards New Haven. You will need to transfer at the Bridgeport bus terminal. Change to the Metro-North bus service heading towards New York City. Upon arrival at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, transfer to the MTA bus M102 heading towards the Bronx. Get off at the stop at 135th St and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. From there, walk west on 135th St for one block, and you will find the Harlem YMCA at 180 W 135th St.
