Train
Start at Stamford's train station, Stamford Transportation Center. Purchase a ticket for a Metro-North train heading to Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and follow signs for the 42nd Street exit. Once outside, you will be on 42nd Street.

From Grand Central Terminal, walk west on 42nd Street until you reach 6th Avenue. Turn right on 6th Avenue and continue walking until you reach 44th Street. Turn left on 44th Street and walk until you see the New York Yacht Club located at 37 W 44th St. It should be on your right side.

After arriving at Grand Central Terminal, you can also take the subway. Follow the signs to the 42nd Street subway station, and take the 7 train towards Hudson Yards. Get off at Times Square-42nd Street station. Once there, transfer to the 1, 2, or 3 train and head downtown. Get off at 42nd Street-Times Square, then walk west on 42nd Street to 6th Avenue, turn right, and continue to 44th Street to reach the New York Yacht Club.
