To get to Temple Emanu-El located at 1 E 65th St, New York, NY 10065, start by taking the Metro-North Railroad from Stamford Station. Purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit. Upon exiting, walk east on 42nd Street until you reach Park Avenue. Turn right on Park Avenue and continue walking until you reach 59th Street. At 59th Street, turn left and proceed to 65th Street. Temple Emanu-El will be on your right at the corner of E 65th St.

From Stamford, you can take the Greyhound or Peter Pan bus to New York City. Head to the Stamford Bus Terminal and purchase a ticket to Manhattan. Once you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, take the A, C, or E subway line from 42nd Street to 8th Avenue. Transfer to the 1 subway line and travel to 59th Street - Columbus Circle. From there, walk east on 59th Street until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn right on 5th Avenue and walk one block to E 65th St. Temple Emanu-El will be on your left.
