Walking

If you are in downtown Stamford, begin your journey by heading to the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, take the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Once you arrive at Grand Central, transfer to the 4, 5, or 6 subway line heading towards Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall. Get off at the 42nd St-Grand Central station. From there, follow the signs to the 42nd St-Bryant Park subway station and catch the B or D train towards 59th St-Columbus Circle. Get off at the 59th St-Columbus Circle station. Exit the subway and walk west towards Central Park. Enter the park at the 59th St entrance and continue walking until you reach the 79th St Transverse, where The Ramble is located.

Once you arrive, follow the signs to the subway and take the B or D train from the 42nd St station towards 59th St-Columbus Circle.
