    Getting There

    Public Transit - Subway

    To reach Strivers' Row in Manhattan from Stamford, head to the Stamford train station located at 30 Station Place. Take the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. The train ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the Subway. Take the 42nd Street Shuttle (S) to Times Square-42nd Street Station. From there, transfer to the 1 train (red line) heading uptown. Get off at the 137th Street-City College Station. After exiting the station, walk east along 137th Street for about 5 minutes, then turn left onto Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. Strivers' Row will be on your right.

    Public Transit - Bus

    From Stamford, take the 21 bus towards Bridgeport. Get off at the Stamford train station. From the station, take the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, transfer to the 2 or 3 train (blue line) heading uptown. Get off at 135th Street Station. Exit the station and walk west along 135th Street for about 5 minutes, then turn right onto Frederick Douglass Blvd and continue until you reach Strivers' Row.

    While walking from Stamford to New York City is not practical, if you are already in Manhattan, you can reach Strivers' Row by walking. If you are near Central Park, head west towards Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd and walk down to 138th Street. Strivers' Row is located between 138th and 139th Streets between Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd and Frederick Douglass Blvd.
