From I-95 N, take exit 15 towards the George Washington Bridge and follow signs for the Henry Hudson Parkway. Merge onto the Henry Hudson Parkway and take the exit for W 155th St. Continue onto W 155th St, then turn left onto Amsterdam Ave. Finally, turn right onto W 148th St, where you will find the district at 415 W 148th St, NY 10031. Be aware that parking in the area may be limited, and you might incur parking fees depending on where you park.

To reach Hamilton Heights/Sugar Hill Historic District using public transportation, take the subway. Begin your journey by taking the A or C train from any station in Manhattan heading towards 125th St. If you take the A train, get off at the 145th St station; if you take the C train, get off at the 145th St station as well. From there, walk 3 blocks south on Amsterdam Ave and then turn right onto W 148th St. The district will be on your left at 415 W 148th St, NY 10031. A single ride on the subway costs $2.75.

Another option is to take a bus to Hamilton Heights/Sugar Hill Historic District. You can board the M3 or M4 bus from various locations in Manhattan. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the nearest stop to your location. Get off the bus at the stop near 148th St and Amsterdam Ave. From there, it’s just a short walk to the district located at 415 W 148th St. The fare for the bus is also $2.75, which can be paid using a MetroCard.
