    From the West Haven train station, head west on Main Street toward Savin Avenue. Turn left onto Savin Avenue and continue straight. Turn right onto Captain Thomas Boulevard. The park will be on your left. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30 minutes. There is no cost for walking.

    Public Transport

    From New Haven, take the CT Transit bus route 271 or 265 towards West Haven. Get off at the stop closest to Savin Rock Park, typically Captain Thomas Blvd @ Dyke St. The park is a short walk from the bus stop. A one-way bus fare is approximately $1.75.

    Driving

    From I-95, take exit 42 for Captain Thomas Boulevard. Follow the signs to Savin Rock Park. Parking is available in the park, with metered parking for visitors. Non-residents can expect to pay around $5 per hour, or $30 per day. Parking can be paid via the Premium Parking app.
