From Waterbury, head to the Waterbury Transit Center located at 25 East Main Street. Take the CT Transit bus number 84 towards Hartford. The bus will take you directly to Hartford. Once you arrive at the Hartford Union Station, exit the bus and walk towards the intersection of Main Street and Trumbull Street. Continue walking north on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach 600 Main St, the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art.

Make your way to the Waterbury Train Station located at 25 Water Street. Board the Metro-North Railroad train heading towards Bridgeport. Get off at the Bridgeport station and transfer to an Amtrak train towards Hartford. Once you arrive at Hartford Union Station, exit and walk north on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art at 600 Main St.
