Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Hartford Civic Center (now known as the XL Center), exit the building and walk south on Main Street for about 0.4 miles. You will see the entrance to Bushnell Park on your left after you pass the State Capitol building.

  • Walking

    From the Connecticut Science Center, head towards the riverfront and take a left onto Columbus Boulevard. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right, and you will find the entrance to Bushnell Park on your left.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    You can take the CT Transit bus service. Look for the bus stop nearest to you (check the CT Transit website or app for the closest stop). Board any bus heading towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop closest to Bushnell Park, which is located at 1000 Main Street. From there, walk a short distance to the park entrance.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    If you are near the Hartford Public Library, you can catch the CT Transit bus #60 or #66 towards downtown. Get off at the stop at Main Street and Bushnell Park. The park will be right in front of you, just a short walk across the street.
