Walking
Start at the center of Avarua, near the main market. Head south on Ara Tapu (the main road). Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the beach road. Turn left onto the beach road and continue walking for another 500 meters. Look for the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) building on your right. Once you spot YWAM, walk 40 meters anticlockwise from there, and you will find Papa Turtle located on the beach side.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, begin at the Avarua market. Ride south along Ara Tapu for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the beach road, turn left. Continue cycling for 500 meters until you see the YWAM building on your right. From there, bike 40 meters anticlockwise to reach Papa Turtle, which is located on the beach side.
Public Transport (Bus)
Catch a local bus from Avarua heading towards the southern beaches. Inform the driver you want to stop near YWAM. It’s about a 10-minute ride. Once you get off, walk 40 meters anticlockwise from YWAM to find Papa Turtle on the beach side.
