Walking
From the main road (Ara Tapu) in Takitumu, head inland following the signs for Wigmore's Waterfall. The walk from the main road to the waterfall is approximately 15-20 minutes. The trail leads through a tropical forest and can be uneven, so wear appropriate footwear. There are no entrance fees or tolls for walking to the waterfall.
Public Transport
Take the local bus from Avarua towards the Takitumu District. Ask the driver to drop you off near Wigmore's Waterfall. From the bus stop, it's approximately a 20-minute walk along the path leading to the waterfall. A one-way bus ticket costs $5.00 NZD. Check the bus schedule in advance as services may be infrequent.
