Getting There

From the center of Avatiu, head west on Avatiu Road towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Main Road. Turn left onto Main Road and walk along the shoreline until you reach the village of Arorangi. You will pass several local shops and cafes on the way, which can be a nice stop if you need refreshments. Keep walking until you see the sign for the Raemaru Trail, which will be on your right side. Follow the path indicated by the trail signs leading you to the Raemaru trailhead.
