Car
From Rarotonga International Airport, head southeast on Avarua Main Road (the main road that circles the island). Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the Arorangi District. Look for the sign for Raemaru Trailhead, which is located at Q58H+254. There is limited parking available at the trailhead. Note that there is no cost for parking.

Public Transportation
You can catch a local bus from Avarua to Arorangi. Board the bus heading towards the western side of the island. Inform the driver you want to get off at Arorangi. The bus will drop you off along the main road; from there, walk approximately 500 meters to reach the Raemaru Trailhead located at Q58H+254. Bus fares are generally around 5 NZD (New Zealand Dollars).

If you are staying nearby, you can walk or rent a bicycle to reach Raemaru Trailhead. From Avarua, take the Avarua Main Road towards the west, following the same route as the public bus.
