The bus departs from Cook's Corner on the hour, every hour, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, the bus runs from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Get off the bus near Tikioki Beach. From there, it is a short walk to Anchors Sand. A one-way fare is NZ$5.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available from Rarotonga Airport or Avarua. The ride to Anchors Sand in Tikioki takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Expect to pay around NZ$40-50 for a one-way trip from the airport. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
