If you are driving from the Arenal Volcano area, start by heading east on Route 142 towards La Fortuna. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 35. Take a right onto Route 35 and continue south for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs for San Isidro and turn left onto Route 126. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Finca La Esperanza on your right. The total drive takes around 1 hour.

Public Transportation
To reach Finca La Esperanza via public transport, take a bus from La Fortuna to San Isidro. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in La Fortuna. The journey will take about 1.5 hours and cost approximately $5. Once you arrive in San Isidro, you can either take a taxi or walk to Finca La Esperanza, which is about 3 kilometers from the bus stop. Taxis are readily available and will cost around $10.

If you prefer a direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in the Arenal Volcano area. It is advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand. A taxi ride from La Fortuna to Finca La Esperanza will take approximately 1 hour and could cost between $30 to $50 depending on traffic.
