Walking
From La Fortuna's town center, Poza El Salto is approximately 1.5 km away. Head south from the central park along the main road (Route 702). The walk takes about 20-30 minutes. Look for the bridge over the Fortuna River; the entrance to Poza El Salto is located just before the bridge on the right-hand side. There are no entrance fees.

Taxi
Taxis are readily available in La Fortuna. A taxi ride from the town center to Poza El Salto will take about 5-10 minutes. Fares typically range from 4,169.7 CRC for a 5km ride. Confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey. Ask to be dropped off near the bridge over the Fortuna River. From there, it's a short walk down to the swimming hole.

Driving
From La Fortuna, drive south on Route 702 towards the Arenal Volcano. Poza El Salto is located just before the bridge over the Fortuna River. Limited street parking is available near the bridge. Be aware that unofficial 'parking guards' may ask for a fee (around 1000 CRC) to watch your car. There is also a parking lot with ample space where someone will watch over the lot for 1000 CRC. Be sure not to leave any belongings in the car.
