Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of La Fortuna. Head northeast on Avenida 1 toward Calle 502. Continue straight onto the Route 142 (also known as the La Fortuna Road). Drive for about 4 kilometers (roughly 10 minutes) until you reach the intersection with Route 702. Turn left onto Route 702 and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see Fortuna Kiosk on your left at coordinates 10.4715529, -84.6447129. Parking is available along the roadside.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a local bus from the main bus station in La Fortuna. Look for the bus heading to the Arenal Observatory Lodge. The buses usually depart every hour. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Fortuna Kiosk. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Be sure to have some change ready for the fare, which is typically around 500-700 colones (approximately $1-$1.50). Once you arrive at the Kiosk, just cross the street to reach it.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option, consider taking a taxi from La Fortuna. You can easily find a taxi in the town center. Show the driver the address, which is F9C4+J4, Alajuela Province, La Fortuna. The ride will take about 10 minutes and should cost you between 3,000 to 5,000 colones (around $5-$10), depending on the time of day and traffic conditions. Taxis are a convenient option if you're traveling with a group or have luggage.
