Car
From Arenal Volcano National Park, head east on Route 142 towards La Fortuna. After approximately 12 kilometers, take a left turn onto Route 4 towards Guatuso. Continue on Route 4 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 6. Turn left onto Route 6 and follow the signs to Mirador Rio Celeste. The mirador is approximately 8 kilometers from the Route 6 junction. Be aware that the roads can be bumpy, so drive carefully.

From La Fortuna, take a bus to Guatuso. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 1,500 CRC.
