Car
If you're driving from San Isidro de El General, take Route 2 (Interamericana) towards the coast. Continue for about 48 km until you reach the intersection with Route 34 at Dominical. Turn left onto Route 34 (Costanera Sur) and follow the signs to Uvita. Drive approximately 16 km, and as you enter Uvita, keep an eye out for the Asada Comunal on your right. Ballena Infocenter is located 50 meters east of this landmark. Look for the sign indicating the Infocenter.

Public Transportation
To reach Ballena Infocenter using public transportation, take a bus from San Isidro de El General to Uvita. Buses operate frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Uvita bus station, exit and head towards the main road (Route 34). From there, walk approximately 1 km north until you reach the Asada Comunal. Ballena Infocenter is 50 meters east of this location. Be prepared to ask locals for directions if needed.

If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Uvita or nearby towns. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The cost will vary depending on your starting point, but expect to pay around $10 to $15 for a taxi from Uvita to Ballena Infocenter. The driver will know the location, so just mention the Asada Comunal as a landmark.
