If you're driving from Cahuita National Park, head south on Route 36. Continue for about 7 kilometers (approximately 15 minutes). Keep an eye out for signs indicating Playa de Manzanillo. Turn left at the intersection just before entering Manzanillo and follow the road directly to the beach parking area. Note that parking may have a small fee, typically around $2 to $5 depending on the time of day.

To reach Playa de Manzanillo from Cahuita using public transportation, wait at the Cahuita bus stop on Route 36. Look for buses heading towards Manzanillo; they usually run every hour. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes, costing around $1.50. Once you arrive in Manzanillo, walk towards the beach by following the main road, which will lead you directly to Playa de Manzanillo. The beach is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

For those feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Cahuita and ride to Playa de Manzanillo. Start by heading south on Route 36, following the same directions as for driving. The ride is about 7 kilometers and will take around 30 to 45 minutes depending on your pace. The road is mostly flat, but be cautious of traffic. Once you reach Manzanillo, park your bike at the designated areas nearby the beach. Bicycle rentals typically cost around $10 per day.
