Car
From Puntarenas, take Route 1 (Interamericana) heading northeast. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 21. At the junction, take Route 21 towards Paquera. After about 10 kilometers, look for signs indicating Santa Teresa or Cabo Blanco. You will eventually turn left onto Route 160. Follow this road for another 15 kilometers, and then look for signs to Reserva Natural Cabo Blanco. Park in the designated area and prepare for a short hike to the entrance.

From Puntarenas, take a bus towards Paquera. Buses for Paquera leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Puntarenas. The journey will take about 1 hour and cost around 1,500 CRC.
