    From Puntarenas, take Route 1 (Interamericana) heading northeast. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 21. At the junction, take Route 21 towards Paquera. After about 10 kilometers, look for signs indicating Santa Teresa or Cabo Blanco. You will eventually turn left onto Route 160. Follow this road for another 15 kilometers, and then look for signs to Reserva Natural Cabo Blanco. Park in the designated area and prepare for a short hike to the entrance.

    From Puntarenas, take a bus towards Paquera. Buses for Paquera leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Puntarenas. The journey will take about 1 hour and cost around 1,500 CRC. Once in Paquera, you will need to take a local taxi or a shuttle service to Cabo Blanco. The taxi will take about 20 minutes and will cost approximately 5,000 CRC. Confirm with the driver that they know the way to Reserva Natural Cabo Blanco.

    After parking your car or arriving by taxi, you will need to hike approximately 2 kilometers to the entrance of Reserva Natural Cabo Blanco. The path can be steep and may take around 30-40 minutes to walk, so wear appropriate footwear and bring water. Make sure to check the opening hours before your visit, as the reserve is open Wednesday to Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM.
