If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Nicoya town. Head southwest on Route 21 towards the town of Nicoya. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 150. Turn right onto Route 150 and follow the signs towards Playa Hermosa. After about 15 kilometers, you will arrive at a fork; keep right to stay on Route 150. Continue for another 10 kilometers, and you will see signs directing you to Playa Hermosa. The beach is accessible via Manzanillo Beach Road, where you can find parking areas nearby. Note that parking fees may apply, usually around 2,000 to 3,000 CRC.

For public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Nicoya. Look for the bus heading towards Santa Teresa or Malpais; both routes will pass through Playa Hermosa. The bus ride should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest departure times, as they can vary. The fare is typically around 1,500 to 2,000 CRC. Once you arrive at the Playa Hermosa bus stop, the beach is a short walk away. Follow the path leading from the bus stop to the beach area.
