If you're traveling by car from the Caribbean Coast, begin your journey on Route 32 (Caribbean Highway) heading west. Continue on Route 32 until you reach the junction with Route 10 in Guápiles. Take Route 10 towards Turrialba. After approximately 20 kilometers, you'll reach the town of Turrialba. Continue past Turrialba, following the signs for Cachí. From Turrialba, take Route 219, which will lead you directly to Cachí. Once you arrive in Cachí, follow local signs to Represa de Cachí, which is located at R5RW+5V9. The drive will take around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Public Transportation
To reach Represa de Cachí via public transportation, start at a local bus terminal in the Caribbean Coast, such as in Limón. You'll need to take a bus to Turrialba, which usually departs regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive in Turrialba, transfer to a bus heading to Cachí. The bus ride from Limón to Turrialba takes about 2 hours, and the Turrialba to Cachí leg is approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Cachí, you can either take a taxi or walk to Represa de Cachí, which is about 4 kilometers from the town center. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
