If you are driving, start from the center of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Take Route 36 towards Bribri, and continue until you reach the intersection with Route 2. Turn left onto Route 2 and follow it for about 40 kilometers. Once you reach the town of Paraíso, look for signs pointing to Parque Nacional Tapanti Orosi. La Granja by Hacienda Orosi is located along this road. Keep an eye out for the entrance on your right, just after passing the park entrance. There is usually no toll on this route, but make sure to have your vehicle fueled up before the journey.

Public Transportation
To reach La Granja by Hacienda Orosi using public transportation, first make your way to the bus station in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Look for a bus heading to Cartago; the service is relatively frequent. The bus ride will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once in Cartago, you will need to take a local bus or taxi to Paraíso. The local bus service to Paraíso runs approximately every hour. Once you arrive in Paraíso, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a taxi to La Granja by Hacienda Orosi. The taxi fare from Paraíso to La Granja should be around 3,000-5,000 Costa Rican Colones. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary.
