Bus
From Liberia, you can take a bus from the Liberia Bus Station. Look for the bus heading towards 'Coco' or 'Playas del Coco'. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Playas del Coco bus station, exit the bus, and walk towards the beach area, which is just a short 10-minute walk from the station.
Shuttle
If you prefer a more comfortable option, book a shared shuttle service from your hotel in Guanacaste. Most hotels can arrange this for you, or you can find shuttle services online. The shuttle will take you directly to Del Coco Beach, making stops at popular attractions along the way. The journey typically takes about 30 minutes.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi directly to Del Coco Beach. If you are in a nearby town, simply hail a taxi or call a local taxi service. The fare may vary depending on your starting location, but it should not exceed $20 from towns like Liberia or Tamarindo. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
Bicycle Rental
For the more adventurous tourists, you can rent a bicycle in Liberia or nearby towns. Follow Route 21 towards Playas del Coco. The ride is approximately 18 km and will take about 1 hour. Once in Coco, follow the signs to the beach. It's a scenic route, so enjoy the views along the way!
