From the center of Jaco, head east towards the beach. Walk along Avenida Pastor Díaz until you reach the main beach area. Once you reach the beach, continue walking along the shoreline to the south. This path will take you towards Playa Herradura. It's about a 30-40 minute walk depending on your pace. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Playa Herradura.

You can catch a local bus from Jaco to Herradura. Head to the main bus terminal located at the eastern end of Avenida Pastor Díaz. Look for buses labeled 'Herradura' or 'Playa Herradura.' The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Herradura bus stop, you can walk towards the beach, which is just a few minutes away.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Jaco. Head east on Avenida Pastor Díaz and pedal towards the beach. Continue south along the coastline. The ride to Playa Herradura will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Make sure to follow the coastal road signs pointing towards Herradura.
