You can hail a taxi from anywhere in Jaco. Tell the driver you want to go to Playa Grande. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting in. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Jaco. Head north on Avenida Pastor Diaz, then take a left onto Calle Hermosa. Continue straight until you reach the main road leading out of Jaco. Follow the bike path along the coast, which will eventually lead you to Playa Grande. This option allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way but be cautious of traffic.

Although it is quite a distance, if you are feeling adventurous and fit, you can walk to Playa Grande. Start by heading north from the center of Jaco along Avenida Pastor Diaz. After about 20 minutes, turn left onto Calle Hermosa and continue straight until you reach the main road. Follow the road north along the coast. This will be a long walk, approximately 2 hours, but you'll get to see the local environment up close.
