From Jaco, head to the main bus terminal located on the east side of town, near the intersection of Paseo de los Turistas and Calle Alice. Look for the bus that goes to Montezuma, which is operated by the company 'Transportes Moin.' The bus departs approximately every hour. Purchase a ticket from the counter or directly from the driver (the fare is around $5-$6). After about 1.5 to 2 hours, you will arrive at the Montezuma bus terminal.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or book a shared shuttle service from your accommodation in Jaco. The drive will take about 1.5 hours. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Piedra Colorada, which is known for being a popular beach near Montezuma. Confirm the price before starting your journey.

Walking from Montezuma
Once you arrive at the Montezuma bus terminal, you can walk to Piedra Colorada. Head northwest on Calle Montezuma towards the beach. Follow the path along the coastline for about 30 minutes until you reach Piedra Colorada. Look for signs or ask locals for guidance, as this beach is popular and they will be able to direct you.
