Getting There

  • Bus

    From Jaco, head to the main bus station located on Avenida Pastor Díaz, which is centrally located in town. Look for the bus company 'Transportes Moin' or 'Transportes Tárcoles' that goes to Orotina. Purchase a ticket to Orotina, which should cost around $3-$5. The bus will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Orotina, you will need to get off at the main bus terminal.

  • Walking

    After disembarking the bus in Orotina, exit the bus terminal and head towards the main road, Route 27. You will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Puente Río Grande de Tárcoles. Walk north on Route 27, following the signs for San José. The bridge will be visible as you approach it. It should take around 20-30 minutes to reach the bridge on foot.
