From La Fortuna Waterfall, head northeast on Route 142. Continue on this road for approximately 17 km. You will pass through the towns of La Fortuna and then Muelle before reaching San Ramón. Look for signs pointing to Route 1 (Interamericana Sur). Take Route 1 towards San José for about 10 km. Once you reach the C8MG+QW area, look for local signs directing you to Cataratas Escondidas. Make sure to park in designated areas. Note that there may be a small parking fee.

From La Fortuna Waterfall, you can take a public bus towards San Ramón. Buses leave frequently from the La Fortuna bus terminal. It takes approximately 30-40 minutes to reach San Ramón. Once you arrive at the San Ramón bus terminal, you may need to take a taxi or shuttle service to reach the exact location of Cataratas Escondidas, which is approximately 6 km away. Be prepared for a small fare for the taxi or shuttle.
