From the center of La Fortuna, start at the main square (Parque Central). Head northeast on Avenida 2, passing local shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle 6. Turn left onto Calle 6 and follow it until you reach the end of the street, where you will see a sign for the Arenal River. Follow the path down to the riverbank. El Salto - Río Fortuna is located further along the river, approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the main square.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in La Fortuna. Start at the main square and take Avenida 2 northeast. When you reach the intersection with Calle 6, turn left. Continue straight until you reach the riverbank. Keep following the path along the Arenal River for about 3 kilometers. El Salto - Río Fortuna will be on your right, marked by local signs.
