If you are at the central park of La Fortuna, start by heading north on Avenida 3. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 502. Turn left onto Calle 502 and walk for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Catarata Río Fortuna. Once you reach the end of Calle 502, turn right onto the road leading to the waterfall. Follow the road for another 15 minutes until you see the entrance to the Rainforest Chocolate Tour on your left.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi from anywhere in La Fortuna. Just tell the driver you want to go to 'Catarata Río Fortuna' or 'Rainforest Chocolate Tour'. Most taxis are familiar with the location. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic and will cost around $10-15 USD.
