Walking
From the center of La Fortuna, head south on Avenida 1 towards Calle 4. Continue straight on Avenida 1 for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Calle 4. Turn left onto Calle 4, and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will see signs for NATUWA Wildlife Sanctuary on your right. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the sanctuary entrance.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in La Fortuna. Start at the central park and cycle south along Avenida 1. After about 1 km, turn left onto Calle 4, and continue cycling for another 500 meters. Look for the signs indicating NATUWA Wildlife Sanctuary on your right side. You should be able to park your bike near the entrance.

Take the local bus that goes towards Pitahaya. You can catch the bus at the main bus stop in La Fortuna. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach '1 km Plaza deportes Santuario NATUWA'.
