Walking
If you are in the center of La Fortuna, start at Parque Central (Central Park). From the park, head east on Avenida 1 until you reach the intersection with Calle 502. Turn left onto Calle 502 and continue straight. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach a T-intersection. Turn right onto the road that leads towards San Carlos, and after about 5 minutes, you will see the sign for Proyecto Asis on your left side.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in La Fortuna. Simply tell the driver 'Proyecto Asis' or give them the address '141, Provincia de Alajuela, San Carlos.' The ride will take around 15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in La Fortuna. Start from the center of La Fortuna and head east on Avenida 1 until you reach Calle 502. Turn left on Calle 502 and cycle straight until you reach the T-intersection. At the T-intersection, turn right. Continue cycling for about 5 minutes, and look for the sign for Proyecto Asis on the left.
