Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of La Fortuna, head northwest on Calle 502 towards the main road (Calle 4). Once you reach the main road, turn left onto Avenida 3. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Avenida 5. Cross the intersection and continue on Avenida 3. After about 500 meters, you will see a sign for Proyecto Asis on your right. Follow the sign, and you will arrive at the sanctuary.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in La Fortuna. Start at the main square and head northwest on Calle 502 towards the main road (Calle 4). Turn left onto Avenida 3 and cycle straight for about 1 km. At the intersection with Avenida 5, continue on Avenida 3. After approximately 500 meters, look for the sign for Proyecto Asis on your right. Follow the sign, and you will reach the sanctuary.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer to take a taxi, you can easily find one in the center of La Fortuna. Inform the driver that you want to go to Proyecto Asis. The address is '141, Provincia de Alajuela, San Carlos'. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and the taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the sanctuary.
