Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Liberia, head to the main bus terminal (Terminal de Buses) located on Avenida 5. Look for buses heading to Curubandé. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you are going to La Leona Waterfall Adventure Hike, so they can drop you off at the nearest stop, which is close to Soda Curubanda. Once you get off the bus, walk about 15 meters east to find the entrance to the hike.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Liberia. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to '15 meters east of Soda Curubanda' in Curubandé. The drive should take about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Confirm the fare before starting, and ensure the driver knows the exact location.

• Shuttle Service

  Some tour companies offer shuttle services from Liberia to La Leona Waterfall. You can book these services in advance online or at your hotel. The shuttle will pick you up at your accommodation in Liberia and take you directly to the waterfall entrance. This is a convenient option if you're part of a tour or prefer not to navigate public transport.

• Walking from Curubandé

  If you are staying in Curubandé, you can walk to the La Leona Waterfall Adventure Hike. Start from the center of Curubandé and walk east towards Soda Curubanda. Once you reach Soda Curubanda, continue walking approximately 15 meters east, and you will find the entrance to the hike.
