From Liberia, take the Interamericana Highway 1 north and turn right towards Curubandé. The drive is approximately 20 minutes. Once in Curubandé, follow signs to La Leona Waterfall. The road to the parking lot is paved and in good condition. Park at the designated area and book a tour with a local operator. Note that a 4x4 vehicle is not necessary to reach the tour operator's office. Parking is available at the adventure center.

Arrange for a taxi or shuttle from Liberia to La Leona Waterfall. The journey takes about 20 minutes from Liberia. Several companies offer round-trip transportation.
