Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Limón. Head southwest on Calle 2 toward Avenida 0. Continue onto Avenida 0 and then turn left onto Route 32. Follow this road for about 45 minutes, passing through the scenic countryside until you reach the town of Cahuita. Once in Cahuita, follow the signs to Caille. The Chocolate Forest is located at Caille, Limón, Cahuita, Los Laureles, 7403. Make sure to park in the designated areas near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach The Chocolate Forest by public transportation, take a bus from the Limón bus terminal to Cahuita. Buses frequently depart throughout the day; the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Cahuita bus station, you can either take a taxi or walk to Caille, which is about 3 km away from the station. If you choose to walk, head southwest on Avenida 1, then turn right onto Calle 1, and continue straight until you reach Caille. The Chocolate Forest is located at Caille, Limón, Cahuita, Los Laureles, 7403.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Limón to The Chocolate Forest. Simply inform the driver of your destination: Caille, Limón, Cahuita, Los Laureles, 7403. The fare should be discussed beforehand, but expect to pay around $30-$40, depending on your starting point and traffic conditions.
