Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Quepos, take the local bus to Manuel Antonio National Park. Buses depart frequently, approximately every 20 minutes, from the Quepos bus station. The ride costs around ₡410 (about $0.75 USD) and takes about 15 minutes. Tell the driver you want to get off near the entrance of Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio. From the bus stop, it's a short, 10-minute walk to the park entrance.

• Taxi

  From Quepos, a taxi to Manuel Antonio Beach costs between $5 and $10. The ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting the ride. Taxis are readily available in Quepos.

• Walking

  From hotels along the main road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park, walking is possible but can be challenging due to the hilly terrain, heavy traffic, and lack of sidewalks in some areas. Exercise caution and be prepared for a strenuous walk. Walking from the main road to the park entrance takes approximately 10 minutes.

• Parking

  If driving, private parking lots are available near the park entrance. These lots charge around ₡4,000 - ₡5,000 (approximately $6-$10 USD) for the day. Be aware of unofficial parking attendants who may try to direct you to more distant lots. It is best to drive to the end of the road closer to the park entrance. Lock your car and take all valuables with you.
