Incredible Tour of the Forest with Excellent Guide

Incredible tour. Miguel is an excellent guide. He knows where to find everything, focus in on it quickly with the spotting scope and is very knowledgeable on all the animal and plant species you see in the forest. Even though we came at the low season for spotting certain species, Miguel managed to find everything we wanted to see and even completely unexpected species that were an incredible surprise. Without a guide we wouldn't have been able to see anything in the dense green of the forest. Whether day or night tour, we highly recommend the tour with Miguel.

An incredible two days with Jean!

We spent two days with Jean in Monteverde. Right from our first contact, Jean was professional and his passion for nature, animals, photography and people was evident. We spent our first day in Curicancha nature reserve. We saw incredible birds and animals (the owl was a highlight!), and Jean’s knowledge was impeccable. On our second day, we visited the Monteverde cloud forest reserve, and Jean guided us to so many unique sightings and experiences. That afternoon, he also accompanied us to the hanging bridges - where we finally spotted the famous quetzal! Jean never gave up on that quest, and it was worth it! Jean is an incredibly unique guide - he knows Monteverde intimately, he has vast knowledge of nature, birds and animals, and you get to see everything through the eyes of a photographer. He is also an incredibly lovely human with so many fun, interesting stories to share. If you are in Monteverde, Jean should be your go-to guide.
