Getting There

Walking

From most hotels in downtown Santa Elena, Treetopia Park is accessible by walking, though it involves some steep climbs. Head southwest towards the main road, Route 606, and follow it for approximately 4 kilometers. Turn left onto Route 601 and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. Treetopia Park will be on your left. Walking time is approximately 1.5-2 hours. Be prepared for a hilly walk.
Public Transport

Take the public bus from Santa Elena to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Inform the driver you wish to get off near Treetopia Park. The bus will drop you off on the main road, approximately a 5-minute walk from the park entrance. Check the bus schedule in advance as service is limited. The bus fare is approximately $1.20 USD, payable in cash (USD or Colones).
Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Santa Elena. A taxi to Treetopia Park from downtown Santa Elena will cost between $5 and $20, depending on the distance. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Taxis have fixed prices, so confirm the fare with the driver before you set off.
Driving

If driving from Monteverde, head southwest on Route 606. Continue for about 4 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 601. Turn left onto Route 601 and proceed for another 1.5 kilometers. Treetopia Park will be on your left. Free parking is available on-site. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended, especially during the rainy season.
